This policy explains how we handle personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who is responsible

The controller is the operator of claretparlour.com, reachable at studio@claretparlour.com.

What we collect

• Nothing to play. There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email, date of birth or payment details to use the sittings.
• Cards you leave us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message and use them only to reply. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
• Server logs. Our host records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. Kept for up to 30 days.

What stays in your browser

Your age answer, your Silver Plates and your cookie choice are stored in local storage on your device. They never reach us. See Cookies.

What we never do

No analytics, advertising or tracking tools, no profiling, and we never sell or share personal data for marketing.

Sharing

Only with our hosting and email providers, who process data on our behalf under contract, or where the law requires it.

Retention

Messages are deleted 12 months after our last reply.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy. Write to studio@claretparlour.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

The studio is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
