Is Claret Parlour gambling?

No. It is a free social casino. You never pay to play and nothing of real-world value can be won, so no money changes hands at any point.

What are Silver Plates?

Silver Plates are the fictional play currency of the studio. You start with 5,000, receive 1,000 more on each new day you visit, and can refill to 1,000 whenever your balance is below a sitting's smallest stake.

Can I buy more plates?

No. There is no shop or checkout anywhere on the site, and we will never ask for payment details.

Can I cash out or win prizes?

No. Silver Plates cannot be withdrawn, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, prizes or anything else of value.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no registration. Your age answer, plates and cookie choice are kept only in your browser.

Why did my plates reset?

Plates live in your browser. Clearing site data, using a private window or changing device starts a fresh box of 5,000.

Are the sittings fair?

Yes. Every result comes from your browser's cryptographic random number generator, and the house never adjusts results to your balance or play time.

Who can play?

Adults of legal gambling age: 18 or older, or higher where your local law requires.

Does winning here mean I would win real money elsewhere?

No. Practice or success at social casino gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling.

Where can I get help with gambling?

Call the National Gambling Helpline free on 0808 8020 133, any time, or see Play in Focus for more support.
